TORTURED FOR CHRIST

Countless Christians have read this well-known book about the persecution of Christians in Communist Romania. Many more haven't read it but have it sitting on their shelf in hopes of reading it someday. Thankfully, Alex Rotaru has expertly recorded this modern classic so that everyone can now "read" while they walk or drive. Rotaru's tempo and pace genuinely reflect the gravity and conviction of the author. It's as if the listener is sitting at the feet of Reverand Wurmbrand being regaled by stories of his underground church. As Rotaru's voice quiets at key points, you almost expect the police to bust through the door and cart you away.
