KILLING PATTON The Strange Death of World War II's Most Audacious General

by | Read by Bill O'Reilly

Biography & Memoir • 9 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2014

Another in author O'Reilly's ever-growing series of "Killing" efforts, this provocative and conspiracy-laden history of Patton, the WWII military leader and family man, begins and ends by exploring the nature of some curious circumstances surrounding the automobile accident that ostensibly caused his death. Some see this accident as a possible botched murder attempt. O'Reilly's narration suits the overblown nature of the book. Pompous and highly dramatic, the effort may indeed appeal to "O'Reilly Factor" fans and some military history buffs--but unless the listener craves the all-too-pervasive docudrama and television reality show approach--part fact/part conjecture--this audiobook may disappoint.
