CONQUERING YOUR GOLIATHS A Parable of the Five Stones

Nancy Peterson's performance connects beautifully with this story about how God can help us move beyond life's mediocrity and the hopelessness that can stall our progress. Her flawless delivery--sweet but not innocent--is a wonderful vehicle for the rich imagery and positive tone of the author's writing. The 35-year-old single heroine in the parable loses her monotonous job and, while looking for another one, interviews with a god-like man who gives her something valuable: five stones that represent the character traits she'll need to tackle all of life's challenges. Reading the smooth narrative that illustrates the five traits (listening, trust, optimism, tenacity, and constancy), Peterson captures the author's low-key inspiration and makes this audio an uplifting listening experience.
