GREAT MINDS OF SCIENCE

This audioprogram is composed of six edited interviews with prominent scientists. Paul Hoffman is a delightful interviewer, who asks questions of interest to the non-specialist and explains technical scientific terms when needed. Also, great background sounds accompany the interviews, such as ocean sounds during the oceanography discussion. Neither Paul Hoffman nor the scientists have professional voices, but they communicate well. While discussing dinosaurs, viruses, evolution, oceanography, astronomy, and artificial intelligence, the scientists speak clearly and at a good pace. M.L.C.
