TRANSPARENT Behind the Scenes with Jeffrey Tambor

Listening to actor Jeffrey Tambor explain the process of preparing to play a transgender grandmother in the TV show "Transparent," one finds it's quite a treat to hear the veteran actor express himself with such spontaneity. Tambor delivers some gems about how a man must navigate in a woman's world; he's an articulate artist with some important things to say about being authentic with any acting challenge. But the 19-minute format is a puzzle that will make a lot of listeners wonder why this insightful actor wasn't tapped for a more lengthy interview.
