One can hear his excitement at understanding and cultivating true manhood, a feeling that is tempered by his restraint as a preacher. Nonetheless, he succeeds at offering an experience that will both challenge and comfort the listener. Even those who find themselves disagreeing with some of his opinions will know that Batterson believes and lives what he writes. Every man would do well to listen to this audiobook.
