Who knew a difficult life of child abuse would lead to a worldwide ministry through music? One of the most popular songs in the history of contemporary Christian music was written on a bus in 10 minutes and spawned one of the most successful music careers, a movie, and this autobiography, which fills in details missing from the movie. Bart Millards's heartfelt narration is akin to his leading worship onstage. It's obvious he's reading for a higher purpose than simple entertainment. What he lacks in style as a professional narrator he more than compensates for with his own intimate knowledge of the material.
