Strap yourself in for a shameless, bold, and endearing romance, narrated by Aimee Lilly. Hadley Beckett has had enough of the hot-tempered celebrity chef Maxwell Cavaungh after competing against him in a widely televised cooking contest. At the conclusion of the show, he's fired. Hadley has nowhere to go, but she's determined to not look back. When Max waltzes back into her life with an apology, Hadley isn't sure whether to trust him. Hadley is a complex character juggling conflicting emotions as she navigates her career, and Lilly expertly depicts all of her dilemmas. While the star-crossed romance is compelling, it doesn't overshadow Lilly's warmth and vigor when portraying the entire cast of characters. This performance will captivate listeners.
