TALES OF HIBARIA The Awakening

In this collection of 12 short stories, listeners are introduced to the fanciful world of Hibaria and the Islands, which are inhabited by the Skylords, dragons and sea serpents, and magic. Each story is inspired by one or more illustrations by the author (not included with the audiobook). Siobhan Waring and Robert Hook alternate narration of the stories, which feature children and young people who are facing challenges to save themselves or their world from a great evil that threatens them. The narrators were assigned to each story according to the gender of its main character, and both narrators are adept at bringing all the characters to life. Waring and Hook are engaging storytellers who help create a unified world in which it's perfectly natural to converse with magical creatures.
