Narrator Pamela Klein shares Julie Busler's story of being a young Christian mother in Turkey and the depression that almost ended her life. Sucked down into deep depression and idealizing suicide, she is stunned to a stop as she begins to write a goodbye letter to her family. She finds herself turning back to her religion and finding her calling in being with the broken and those who feel like there is no hope left. Klein's emotional narration captures feelings of loss and fear, as well as finding joy in times of sorrow.
